If you’re like the rest of us, you know that websites can say just about anything about an organization. So here’s where you get to read what real people say about us.
The community has been so supportive of our family. What drew us here is that the folks in this fellowship truly care for each other, the community and all people.

I hadn’t attended church regularly for almost twenty years when I noticed a particularly compelling banner hanging on the outside of FCMF. I decided to attend a service, not knowing what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised by the informal, homey atmosphere, and friendly people. I liked what I saw and I kept coming back. I find this fellowship to be refreshingly open, honest, and authentic. People can be themselves and express themselves truthfully because this is a safe place. We care about each other and help each other out. We may be small, but we stand up for what we believe in when it comes to peace and social justice. FCMF has become my spiritual home.

After moving here from a small Episcopal church in Oregon, my husband and I attended several churches trying to find the right fit with our feelings of God’s love for social justice. By accident on a recycling activity, we met Pastor Steve and were enlightened about the Mennonites. From our experiences with Quakers and Friends, we knew they were “peace” oriented and so started to attend the FCMF. We found the congregation to be very welcoming and the services to be interesting and creative. The FCMF’s homeless mission speaks to us as a way to see God in everyone. We are very much at “home” here!
